La fachada se encontraba muy deteriorada por la erosión debida al ambiente del entorno sometido a los gases de un tráfico muy elevado debido a su ubicación en una zona muy comercial y céntrica de Alicante.
Los grafitis de las zonas inferiores del edificio aportaban una imagen de degradación impropia de un edificio de estas características.
La intervención consolidó la fachada y le ha aportado una imagen más actual.
